The first screening of The Chambana Film Festival was held March 31st, 2024 at the Savoy 16 + IMAX in Savoy, IL. It was a free screening of the 2012 romantic drama/comedy QWERTY, directed by Bill Sebastian.

The film was produced by Chambana Film Festival founder Nat Dykeman, who answered questions from the audience after the film.
On April 28th, 2024, the Chambana Film Festival had it’s second screening, Trapped Balloon by Hiroyuki Miyagawa.

On May 26th, 2024, we had our third screening, Bike Vessel by Eric D. Seals.

On June 30th, 2024, our fourth screening was a collection of comedic short films, entitled
“funny strange & funny haha“.

Filmmaker Thomas Nicol, and some of Team Awesome were in attendance.
On July 28th, we held our 5th screening, the documentary Out There: A National Parks Story.

Unfortunately, technical difficulties delayed the screening an hour, so we repeated the screening on August 11.
On August 25th, we showed our 6th film, the narrative thriller The Wingwalker.

On September 15, we showed the documentary Join Or Die, in conjunction with In Real Life Movie Club, on the International Day Of Democracy.

On September 29, we showed the Romantic Drama A Time Apart.

On October 27th, we showed the horror film Haunt Season. Writer/Director Jake Jarvi attended the screening to answer questions afterwards.

On November 17, we showed drama The Problem Of The Hero by Shaun Dozier.

On November 24, we showed the board game documentary The Hobby by Simon Ennis.

On December 29th, we closed out the year with a collection of short documentaries.
